Tavern Service Company was started in 1955 by Jack and Gloria Heath in their garage. It started out as a service business, cleaning beer lines and equipment, but Jack soon was supplying local bars with CO2 gas.

Tavern Service is still family run and now Jack’s grandson, Robert Aitchison, is the General Manager. We moved to our current location in Northridge in 1972, and opened a retail store to better serve our customers. Our store is one of the most unique businesses you will ever find. You will find something new around every corner and something different every time you visit.

We have the largest selection of keg beer in our area and we also stock beverage & dry ice, unique and unusual craft beers, Kegerators and draft beer parts as well as home brewing equipment, ingredients & supplies.

For those interested in the art of brewing, we are proud to offer a brewing class geared toward home hobbyists. Held on select Saturdays, these classes provide a relaxed and engaging environment where participants can learn from seasoned brewers with years of hands-on experience. Whether you’re new to brewing or looking to refine your techniques, you’ll be surrounded by a wealth of knowledge and resources to help you craft the perfect brew.

We’ve stuck to our beer roots; Jack and Gloria’s son-in-law, John, still works part time, brews beer, and is a BJCP National level judge.
